Wale - Ambition

This album is making it onto almost everyone's top rap albums of 2011 and was acclaimed by tons of rappers, celebs, etc. So I might be the only one to say this: it would be hard for me to be less impressed.

Wale falls into the same category to me as Drake and 2 Chainz: rappers I like but would rather hear on a feature than an album. 

His choice of samples on Ambition are awful, often way too slow for his rapping, and monotonous. Many of the same reasons I don't listen to very much Kid Cudi. Wale is talented and kills some of his features, but I won't be holding on to much of this album, sorry fans.

The only 2 songs I kept are Chain Music and Focused, and neither is ground shaking or anything. Bait isn't bad but Wiz Khalifa's freestyle over it (Dessert) is much better so I can't get into it.
