Ace Hood - The Statement 2

I stumbled upon Ace Hood a couple times in random singles and finally decided to actually check out one of his projects.


The verdict is I'll be checking out the rest of his projects ASAP. Reminds me quite a bit of Lil Wayne with less antics and laughing, so win-win.

The Statement 2 starts very strong and tapers off somewhat towards the end when he gets a little soft. Some people like those kinds of tracks sprinkled in but one of the reasons I like Hood is he goes so hard on his raps so soft tracks bore me.

My Speakers and The Realest Livin ft. Rick Ross make this tape alone, and even the Intro has some killer short verses. Did I mention he did a track with Busta and Yelawolf (Shit Done Got Real)? Ya.
