Slaughterhouse - Self Titleds

After recently signing with Em's Shady Records and Royce's teaming with Em on Bad Meets Evil, Slaughterhouse has gotten a lot of attention lately.

Many had never heard of them before and their self titled Slaughterhouse album back in 2009. If you're one of those many, you've been missing out. You can't listen to this album and not see how they got signed or want to catch their upcoming tour.

Crooked I and Royce Da 5'9" bring the speed and hostility, Joe Budden raps with confidence and ego, and Joel Ortiz is the more comical, school yard kind of rapper.

Crazy thing is the tracks never seem cluttered trying to get all of them a verse and their styles blend SO WELL. It doesn't seem like they should but they really do gel. Not Tonight and Sound Off are the tracks that really bring it.

Also, since signing with Em, they've released another self titled Slaughterhouse EP with 6 tracks to give you a sample of what's to come in May and remix a couple old tracks. This little EP even better and makes the upcoming album welcome to: OUR HOUSE highly anticipated. At the very least, check out Sun Doobie.
